The idea was to create an eye-catching illustration for a children's book that promotes and encourages a discussion about the flexibility of the definition of the word Freedom, and how it can be different among different people (or characters). The title, in English, means "What is freedom?". The bird is the main character, and I've drawn it facing its idea of freedom - and yet he is confused and hesitant about what it really is. The book is part of a collection that focuses on bringing Human Rights ideas and insights in a fun and delicate way, targeting children.
